Creed
Gilgal Faith Ministries hold true that the Bible is the inspired of God, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). All doctrine, faith, hope, and all instruction for the church are based on the teachings of the Bible.
Statement of Faith
Gilgal Faith Ministries believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe in the oneness of God, which is Jesus Christ in the New.
Beliefs
We believe in only one God and Father of us all who has revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. We recognize his roles as Creator, Savior and the indwelling Holy Ghost. (Isaiah 44:6, Acts 2:36, Colossians 2:9-10).
We believe that baptism must be performed by complete immersion into water in the name of the Jesus Christ for the removal of sins (Matthew 3:13-16, Acts 2:38).
We believe that every believer must receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues (Luke 3:16, Acts 10:44-48).
We believe in Holy Communion as recorded in the bible. On the night of our Lord's betrayal, He ate the Passover supper with His Apostles, after which He instituted the sacrament. "And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, this is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper saying, this cup is the New Testament in my blood, which is shed for you." (Luke 22:19-20).
We believe in foot washing. When the Passover supper was ended, we read in John 13:4-5, "He riseth from supper, and laid aside His garments; and took a towel, and girded Himself. After that He poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded."
We believe in holiness. "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Heb. 12:14).
We believe in tithing. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”.( Malachi 3:10).
We believe in divine healing. “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed”. (Isaiah 53:5)
